Dive Coastal Cuisine
For a So Cal coastal-themed restaurant in Dallas, Dive Coastal Cuisine, I designed their logo and worked with them on overall branding and interior aesthetics. With a 1950s beach & pool vibe as the inspiration we wanted a fresh feel that was nostalgic and fun. This was carried over throughout the interior, art, and design, which I designed and consulted on.
La Costa Resort
For the world famous La Costa Resort & Spa I rebranded them and created a new logo & brand identity collateral for their real estate office inspired by the architecture of their famous bell towers. I worked with La Costa Resort to create brochures, marketing materials and digital assets. Printed details included white leather textured paper with bell tower die cuts, foiling and embossed details for their presentation folders.
Cactus Living Shoppe
Cactus Living Real Estate wanted to use the same logo but have a different color scheme & feeling to create an online Shoppe that caters to real estate gifting. With 70s desert living as the inspiration for this gift shop I created an online website, curated a product assortment, social media standards and created t-shirts and tote bags.
Brighton
As a freelance art director for Brighton, I produced special edition magazines for their customers. I directed and coordinated over 15 shoots, managing everything from model selection and beauty teams to photography and locations. We shot in iconic Los Angeles spots, including historic sites and Hollywood Hills homes, aligning each shoot with key fashion stories. I also designed the magazine layout and collaborated with the copywriter. These magazines were highly successful and became collector's editions for Brighton's loyal customers.
Email Marketing
Bold colors, vibrant images and expert designer tone of voice with playful undertones is the brand image Alchemy Fine Home wants to portray. I improved CTR and engagement by over 23% YOY by testing new templates and motion graphics.
About the Brand
To enhance brand value and shorten the customer purchase cycle, I developed a comprehensive 'About the Brand' email to follow the initial welcome email, which includes a discount offer. This email features a bold and sophisticated design paired with compelling copywriting, effectively conveying the narrative of a luxurious, high-quality brand that customers can trust. Our A/B testing revealed that this revamped email not only generated revenue but also significantly boosted the conversion rates of subsequent emails in the welcome sequence.
Alchemy App
I designed the mobile app for Alchemy Fine Home, blending its clean aesthetic with bold colors. By simplifying the creation of favorite lists, we enhanced project management for users. Our unique app-exclusive marketing strategy led to a 30% increase in average order value, tripled customer lifetime value, 30% higher conversion rates, and a 340% increase in items added to favorites.
Alchemy Branding
For the Alchemy Fine Home identity I wanted to create a logo that felt bold and clean with a nod to the 'gold' that the word Alchemy invokes. The goal was to not shy away from color yet feel neutral enough to be paired with diverse interior design images. By selecting the muted aqua to contrast the gold we achieved an identify that stands out from a sea of black and feels fresh and contemporary.
Influencer Collaboration
We collaborated with influencer @beigewhitegray to have her curate a collection and promote her select pieces to her engaged audience. This resulted in a 33% spike of referral traffic with a 275% higher than average CVR.
Feeding America Fundraiser
I designed a harvest-themed fundraiser event for Feedng America San Diego at a private equestrian estate in Rancho Santa Fe. With a bold colorful palette, I crafted a magical evening with produce as its main inspiration. From hand-painted stationery, contemporary decor and incredible stage installed right in the ring, it was a hugely successful event.
Mistral
As Art Director for Mistral Soap, I designed vintage apothecary-style packaging with botanical illustrations. I oversaw the printing and production of all packaging, including labels, cartons, and presentation boxes. I also directed the photoshoots for brochures, trade show signage and catalogs. Under my leadership, sales increased by over 235%, and we secured key clients like Anthropologie and Nordstrom.
Cactus Living
Cactus Living Real Estate came to me with the desire to create a logo and brand identity that felt modern, fresh and not stereotypical of the desert culture. We used a cool 'evening desert sky' inspired color palette to achieve this.
